Designing with heart
Interiors have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Grandparents in the antique trade, a father who designed furniture — I grew up surrounded by craftsmanship and developed an early obsession with how spaces look, feel, and function.
I trained at the London College of Fine Arts, then built my career across three very different disciplines: a long-established furniture company where quality and proportion were non-negotiable; show home design — fast, visual, and commercially driven; and bespoke cabinetry alongside my father, where precision and tailored design became second nature. Three very different worlds. All of them invaluable.
Twenty-five years of that kind of experience led me to one place: founding Appletreewick Interiors. Based in Stratford-upon-Avon, I work across Warwickshire, the Cotswolds, and beyond — on everything from full farmhouse transformations to holiday lets to a single room that needs rethinking. Every project gets the same standard of care.
Life with twins has sharpened my thinking too. Homes have to work — properly, practically, for real life. That perspective sits at the heart of everything I design.
I work with a small number of clients at any one time, and that's deliberate. Great design demands focus and attention. It starts with understanding how you live, what you love, and what would make your space feel entirely, unmistakably yours.
