Three bedrooms inside a character new build thatched cottage, designed with simplicity at their core — calm, cosy, and quietly inviting spaces that feel effortless to retreat into. The brief was to strip away the sense of overuse and create rooms with clarity and warmth; spaces dedicated purely to rest, comfort, and slowing down at the end of the day.
Each room was built through careful layering — soft botanical prints, warm linens, textured upholstery, and calming tones of green, teal, and oat. Lighting was kept gentle and balanced, styling intentionally pared back, and artwork thoughtfully grouped to bring a sense of quiet rhythm throughout.

Each of the three bedrooms was built through careful layering — soft botanical prints, warm linens, textured upholstery, and calming tones of green, teal, and oat creating spaces that feel cocooning and restful. Lighting was kept gentle and balanced, styling intentionally pared back, and artwork thoughtfully grouped to bring a sense of quiet rhythm throughout. Nothing harsh, nothing overstimulating — just bedrooms designed to feel calm, cosy, and instinctively inviting.
The finished bedrooms feel calm, comfortable, and beautifully lived-in — spaces that look considered without ever feeling precious. Every room was designed to work as well as it looks; practical, functional, and easy to live in, whilst still feeling warm, layered, and deeply personal to the clients.
